LOLER inspections

We are an established and experienced provider of LOLER inspections, commonly referred to as lift insurance inspections.

The statutory requirement for lifts and lifting equipment when used in the workplace or by employees is that they are inspected every 12 months, or every 6 months if they are passenger lifts, to verify that they can continue to be safely used. This requirement is driven by the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER).

Most duty holders have some level of lift maintenance provision in place. However, guidance notes suggest that it is preferable for the LOLER inspections to be carried out by a person that is independent of the person that provides the lift maintenance.
